Textbook:You will be expected to read 3-4 papers a week. There are no required textbooks for the course. For backgrounds, you are encouraged to refer to this book: Larry L. Peterson and Bruce S. Davie. Computer Networks: A Systems Approach. Morgan Kaufmann Publishers, 2000
Prerequisite: CSCI 353 or (EE 450 and (CSCI 350 or CSCI 402). Recommended preparation: C-language programming.

Grading

The course grade will be determined based on:

Exams (two exams): 30% exam 1; 30% exam 2

Programming project: 30\%

Class and piazza participation: 10%

Statement for Students with Disabilities
